What is WAPAC?

The Wisconsin Association of Professional Agricultural Consultants (WAPAC) was formed in 1987 to provide a unified voice for professionals advising farmers in Wisconsin.

WAPAC’s diverse membership includes crop consultants, animal nutritionists, farm managers, educators, engineers and a wide array of farm service industry advisors, giving the Association many sources of experience from which to draw for problem solving.  WAPAC’s annual meeting provides forums for the exchange of ideas of a technical nature as well as the more practical matters of operating a consulting business.

The Association exists to foster professionalism and a high level of ethics within its membership. Members subscribe to a code of ethics based on the ARCPACS model which is designed to maintain integrity and the reputation of agricultural professionals.  WAPAC’s goal is to promote agricultural consulting as a profession and to elevate the public’s perception of the role of consultants in agriculture.
